H.E. Dr. Aisha Salem Mubarak, Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission of the Shura Council of Bahrain, in a statement on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the day the Arab Human Rights, which coincided with the sixteenth of March stresed the importance of continuing the wheel of evolution at the level of human rights, and the need to promote transparency, increase the culture of human rights, and an emphasis on support for human rights in the Arab world, according to the universal principles, which conform to the relevant international legislations in this regard, and work to achieve an Arab homeland free from discrimination .
Dr. Aisha Mubarak emphasized the importance of considering Arab Human Rights day as an opportunity to review what has been achieved in the field of human rights in Arab countries, pointing to the importance of respecting the rights of individuals and communities through the consolidation of these rights within the community through legislation and control and the practical application of those rights, calling on everyone to work in order to spread the message of respect and values of human rights in the Arab region through peaceful means and through mutual dialogue between Arab societies and individuals to achieve optimal application of rights.
