The National Assembly of Lebanon called for an urgent meeting of the PUIC in order to launch a Parliamentary campaign to exert pressures on Israel to stop its aggression on the Palestinian people, mainly in Gaza Strip.
The Lebanese National Assembly Speaker, H.E. Mr. Nabih Berry, proposed in his message to the PUIC Secretary General, Prof. Mahmud Erol KILIC, that the meeting may discuss: 1- Means to protect the Palestinian people; 2- Reconstruction of what Israel has destroyed before and now; 3- liberation of Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons; 4- Confirmation of support of world parliamentarians for the inalienable national rights of the Palestinian people.
