H.E. PUIC Secretary General, Professor Mahmud Erol KILIC Expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the acts of violence, murder and dispersion to which the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar are exposed. In his statement Prof. KILIC characterized these acts as a human tragedy and a blatant violation of human rights.
His Excellency appealed to international and regional organizations, primarily the UN and its Geneva- based Human Rights Committee, as well as all civil society organizations, active in the field of human rights, to exert their utmost in order to halt the acts of violence and murder perpetrated against Muslims in Myanmar.
His Excellency urged all PUIC Member Parliaments to show solidarity with the Rohingya Muslims.
