PUIC Secretary General H.E. Prof Mahmud Erol KILIC participated in the proceedings of the Third Meeting of the Consultative Council for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, held in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, on 14-15 September 2011. The meeting was organized by ISESCO.
Director General of ISESCO H.E. Dr. Abdul Aziz Othman Al Tuwaijri stated that the meeting aims at energizing the strategy for the proximity of Islamic schools of Thought. He added that changes that pervade the Islamic World and the concomitant challenges make it necessary for scholars to exert the utmost effort in order to unify the Ummah.
In his message to the PUIC Secretary General Dr. Al Tuwaijri informed that the former has been selected a member of the Consultative Council for the Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in view of his intellectual and scholarly position.
