The PUIC Secretary General H.E. Professor Mahmud Erol KILIC, accompanied by H. E. Mr. Ali Asghar Mohammadi Sijani, Assistant Secretary General, attended the Third Islamic Conference of Ministers in Charge of Childhood, which was held in Tripoli, the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, on 10-11 February, 2011.
The Conference is part of the efforts aimed at improving the conditions of children in the Islamic world.
The Conference was organized by the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in cooperation with the Libyan General People’s Committee for Social Affairs. It was convened in implementation of the resolution adopted by the Second Islamic Conference of Ministers in Charge of Childhood which was held in Khartoum, Sudan, on 2-4 February 2009.
