The Secretary General responded to the invitation extended by IRCICA to attend the 1400 Anniversary of the Holy Quran which took place on 26 Ramadan 1431H (05/09/2010) in Istanbul. The celebration comes in implementation of the resolution adopted by the Council of OIC Foreign Ministers concerning the celebration of this auspicious anniversary. The event was under the patronage of H.E. Receb Tayyeb Erdogan, Prime Minister of Turkey. It was also attended by the competent OIC Ministers.
