The National People’s Assembly of Algeria requested the international community to adopt a firm stand on the aggression launched by the Israeli forces on the Freedom Flotilla which is carrying humanitarian assistance to the inhabitants of Gaza Strip. The statement issued by the Assembly described Israel as the “rogue Zionist State” .
The statement, which was sent to the PUIC, Stressed that condemnation alone does not in any case absolve the international community of shouldering its responsibilities. The statement called on the international community to adopt tangible actions in order to force Israel to respect the International Law and Human Rights.
