Dubai- H.E. Abdul Aziz Al-Ghurair, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) and President of the PUIC Council, received in his office at the FNC General Secretariat’s headquarters in Dubai, the PUIC delegation, headed by H.E. Prof. Mahmud Erol KILIC, PUIC Secretary General and membership of H.E. Ambassador Ali Asghar Mohammadi, Assistant Secretary General.
The audience, on Wednesday 21 April 2010, was attended by H.E. Dr. Mohammad Salim Al-Mazroui, FNC Secretary General, H.E. Abdul Rahman Al-Shamsi, FNC Assistant Secretary General for legislative and parliamentary affairs.
The two sides held talks which defined next September as the date for convening the 23rd Meeting of the PUIC Executive Committee in Abu Dhabi. The two sides also agreed to hold the 13th Session of the Council in Abu Dhabi in January 2011.
The two sides agreed on preparing the schedule of visits of H.E. Abdul Aziz Al-Ghurair, President of PUIC Council to the parliaments of European States, aimed at achieving coordination between OIC-PUIC and the European parliaments.
