The Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union held the 16th ordinary session of its Conference in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt with the attendance of all the Member Parliaments.
The three-day meeting (2-4 March2010) addresses a number of political, economic and parliamentary issues of importance to all the Arab Parliaments.
The PUIC has been invited to participate in the proceedings of the Conference, and is being represented by His Excellency Prof. Mahmud Erol KILIC, Secretary General and His Excellency Ali Asghar Mohammadi, Assistant Secretary General.
In his invitation letter to Prof. KILIC, Mr. Nurruddin  Boshkouj, the APU Secretary General stated that the participation of the PUIC in the Cairo Conference constitutes an important contribution to strengthening relations between the two organizations, and that it will be an occasion to meet a large number of the Arab Parliament Speakers.
