During his speech, he highlighted the following points: At the outset of the speech, he stressed that the Palestinian issue is undergoing a very dangerous turning point that entails concrete and serious threats with long-term effects and repercussions, stressing that the Egyptian state has felt since the outbreak of the current crisis that it will be extremely serious in its scope and repercussions, and that it will mark a new chapter in the excessive use of force that has been practiced and continues to be practiced against the Palestinian people for many decades.
During his speech, Counsellor Dr Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of the House of Representatives, emphasized Egypt's commitment to the humanitarian aspect of relieving the suffering of the Palestinian people, alongside its tireless efforts and liaison with all regional and international parties to contain this unprecedented escalation. He emphasized that the current distressing situation in the Palestinian territories is nothing but the result of negligence in addressing the Palestinian issue seriously and the ongoing state of political stalemate and failure to work towards a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue. He further emphasized Egypt's categorical rejection of any calls for the forced displacement of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, as this would lead to the liquidation of the Palestinian cause and the loss of Palestinian rights.
At the conclusion of his speech, Dr Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of the House of Representatives, called on the parliaments of Islamic countries to work actively and intensively in all international forums to raise the world's awareness of the Israeli occupation's brutality and excessive violence against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, which goes against human nature and undermines the world's values and achievements.
