In a letter to the PUIC's parliament speakers, Ali Larijani, Iran’s parliament speaker, insisted on the need to take action against the process of Judaization and Israelization of Al-Quds (Jerusalem).
Following is the text of Larijani’s letter:

The Parliament Speakers of the OIC Member States,
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh

The continuation of a series of actions by the Zionist criminals in violating and encroaching upon the rights of the Palestinians have made them so haughty and bold and put them under the false impression that they can accelerate the trend of Judiasizing and Israelizing al-Quds.
Over the last 40 years and since the occupation of the first Qiblah and the third holiest site in Islam, Israel has made illegal, inhuman and aggressive efforts to change the Islamic-Arab identity of this city and, in order to achieve this, has mostly focused on changing its demographic structure, However, due to some mistakes made, now the situation has become so regrettable that the Zionists are no longer afraid of expedited such a policy publicly.
Unlike years past, now they have not only expedited their actions but have also tied the continuation of the fake peace negotiations to the acceptance of the Jewishness of Israel by the Palestinian negotiators.
The Usurper regime of Israel has now intensified its unlawful actions and is seriously after stripping Al-Aqsa Mosque of it true identity and status.
First they resorted to the illusion that Solomon’s Temple is located in the underground floors of A1-Aqsa Mosque in order to build a subterranean complex there comprised of a vast interconnected network of tunnels.
Now they have gone so far in their alleged sanctities that they intend to, at first, make Muslims share the sacred precinct of Al-Aqsa Mosque with them so that the ground will paved for the their ultimate domination over this holy place.
This is the same policy that Ariel Sharon - the Butcher of Sabra and Shatila - was pursuing when he broke into Al-Aqsa Masque in 2000; an action which resulted in the A1-Aqsa Intifada.
This is also the same policy that the Zionist regime was following when it separated the al-Buraaq Wall, Magariba Gate and the Kanisat al-Qiyama.
Excellencies,
Although the brave Palestinians specially the residents of al-Quds and occupied territories have been defending the sanctities of Muslims since 1948 with utmost staunchness and have sacrificed their lives for this cause, defending Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque is a religious duty incumbent upon all Muslims in the world.
In this line and due to the urgency of the matter I would like to call upon all my honorable colleagues to further their valuable actions in defending this heavenly site and other sacred places of al-Quds and spare no effort in this regard. More than any other time in history, this sacred city is now in need of concerted and coordinated international as well as in all media, economic and financial support through more coordination amongst the parliaments or OIC member states.
In this line the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran proposes that member states hold a consultation meeting on the sidelines of IPU Assembly in Geneva on October 19th 2009 to exchange views.
I do hope that by the grace of God Almighty and the contribution and participation of Your Excellencies, the representatives of Muslim nations, we will be able to fulfill a portion of our duty regarding al-Quds al-Sharif.
