The Secretary General condemned the decisions of the Israeli occupation aimed at imposing a new status quo through colonial settlement and changing the legal status and position of the occupied Palestinian territories, including Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

It should be noted that the recent Zionist measures included expanding settlement activity, seizing public and private land, demolishing Palestinian homes and facilities, and the transfer of the powers of the Hebron municipality to the so-called "civil administration" of the Zionist occupation army, which affects the legal and historical status of the Ibrahimi Mosque.

His Excellency further emphasised that there is no way to stop the policies of the Zionist occupation except through solidarity among Muslims and standing with the struggling Palestinian people in order to liberate their land, protect the Ummah's holy sites, and establish an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
