PUIC Secretary General Calls for Solidarity with the Heroic Palestinian People

Today, the Islamic Ummah and the international community commemorate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, observed on 29 November 2025. The United Nations established this day in 1977 as an expression of solidarity with this ancient people whose land was occupied and whose population was displaced.

On this occasion, the Secretary General of the PUIC, H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, renews the expression of solidarity with the Palestinian people and reaffirms standing firmly by their side until they liberate their land and establish their independent State with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

H.E. underscores, as reiterated by all PUIC conferences, that the Palestinian cause is the central cause of the Islamic Ummah, and that solidarity with the Palestinian people is a religious, moral, and sovereign duty that cannot be compromised, particularly in light of the genocide, injustice, and oppression inflicted upon them by the criminal Israeli entity.

The Secretary General of the PUIC further calls for encouraging the remarkable awakening of the global conscience regarding this cause, as reflected in the growing number of recognitions of the State of Palestine and the daily demonstrations held across the world in solidarity with the Palestinian people, especially following the brutal oppression, destruction, and killings suffered by the people of Gaza.
