Allah the Almighty said about the Prophet, “We sent thee not, but as a mercy for all creatures.” He is the Mercy given as a gift for our Ummah, and indeed to all creation.

The Ummah needs to draw inspiration from his shining life history, be guided by it and follow his way. Almighty addressed the Prophet by saying, “And verify thou dost guide (men) to the straight Way.” Allah also said to him: “And surely thou hast sublime morals.”

On this great occasion, I extend my sincere congratulations to our Islamic Ummah. I pray to Almighty God to relieve the distress (of people), grant victory to the Nation, protect Muslim countries against evil, wars and seditions; guide Muslim leaders along the path of good and sagacity; and realize unity and harmony among the peoples of the Ummah. Allah is Able to do all that.
