On the passing away of H.E. Mr. Ali Attas, former Foreign Minister of Indonesia, the Secretary General H.E. Prof. Dr. Mahmut Erol Kilic and Member States  of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC convey their condolences and solace to the government and people of Indonesia as well as to the bereaved family.

With much grief and anguish we recall his profound and distinguished contributions which he had made to his country and the Muslim nation in all domains. We pray to Almighty God to shower the late Mr. Attas with His mercy and forgiveness.
