The General Secretariat of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) with reference to the open-ended meeting of the Palestine Committee scheduled to be held in Tehran on 28/04/2018, has the honour to apprise that it has received a letter from His Excellency Dr. Kazem Jalali informing that due to the coincidence of 14th May 2018 with the day of « Nakba », and transferring of US Embassy to Quds Al-Sharif, and the request of a number of participants in the said meeting, and while thanking the large number of the distinguished members who answered positively to the invitation to attend this meeting, His Excellency Dr. Ali Larijani, Speaker of the Islamic Parliament of Iran and, President of the 13th PUIC Conference has decided to postpone the said meeting to 14 May 2018 to coincide with the afore-mentioned crucial events.
The PUIC General Secretariat is pleased to inform that the said meeting will take place in Tehran on 14th May 2018, to deliberate on the current critical situation in Palestine.
