The Islamic Group will hold its regular Consultative Meeting on the sidelines of the 131st Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
In the Note sent by the PUIC General Secretariat to the Member Parliaments it was mentioned that this Consultative Meeting will be held on Sunday, 12th October 2014 from 12:30 to 13:45 Hours at the Third Floor of the CICG, Geneva in Rooms Nos.5 & 6.
The Agenda of the meeting is composed of 5 items, including “Adopting a unified position regarding issues of common concern for the Islamic Group on the Emergency Agenda Items of the 131st Assembly Meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.” And “Supporting the candidacy of H.E. Dr. Nurhayati Ali Assegaf for IPU Presidency.(proposed by House of Representatives of Indonesia).”
