-    The Session was held in Tehran, Islamic Republic of IRAN on 14-19 February 2014, corresponding to 14-19 RABI UL THANI, 1435.
-    48 PUIC Member Parliaments participated in the Session, represented by Speakers of Parliaments, Deputy Speakers, and Heads of Delegations. The Session was also attended by Observers and Guests.
-    His Excellency Dr. Hassan Rohani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran attended the inaugural session and addressed the Conference. The inaugural session was also addressed by:
o    H.E. Dr. al Fateh Ezzeddin al Mansur, Speaker of the Sudanese National Assembly and President of the 8th Session of the PUIC Conference,
o    H.E. Dr. Ali Larijani, Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Parliament and President of the 9th Session of the PUIC Conference,
o    H.E. Professor Dr. Mahmud Erol KILIC, PUIC Secretary General
o    H.E. Mr. Abdel Wahed Radi, Chairman of the International Parliamentary Union and President of the 2nd Session of the PUIC Conference,
-    The 9th Conference Adopted the report of the 16th session of the PUIC General Committee, the Expert Committee Report on the study of the Islamic Parliamentary Declaration and the Draft Amendment of the PUIC Rules of Procedure in accordance with the new Statute.
-    The 9th Conference was preceded by meetings of the four Standing Specialized Committees:
o    Committee on Political Affairs and Foreign Relations
o    Committee on Economic Affairs and Environment
o    Committee on Human Rights, Women and Family
o    Committee on Cultural and Legal Affairs and Dialogue among Civilizations and Religions.
-    Rapporteurs of the above committees submitted their draft reports and resolutions to the 9th Conference for consideration and adoption.
-    The Third Conference of Muslim Women Parliamentarians was held alongside the 9th PUIC Conference.
-    The Standing Committee on Palestine held a meeting. Reports of the Third meeting of the Committee were adopted by the 9th PUIC Conference.
-    The PUIC Conference nominated members of the PUIC General Committee for the year 2014, members of the PUIC Executive Committee for the year 2014 and Members of the Standing Specialized Committees for the year 2014.
-    The Conference agreed:
•    To hold 10th PUIC Conference in the Republic Mali in 2015.
•    Invitation of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Morocco to host the 32nd Meeting of the PUIC Executive Committee and the Meeting of the Standing Committee on Palestine was approved
•    The Conference adopted its Final Report, Tehran Declaration and Final Communique.
