His Excellency explained that this treacherous attack on the sovereignty of a UN Member State, the violation of its airspace, and the deliberate targeting of civilian sites and innocent civilians poses a threat not only to the safety of the State of Qatar, but also to the security of the entire region and to international peace and stability.

H.E. added that the Israeli occupation state would not have not continued its terrorist attacks and expanded its aggression if it were not for the silence and inaction of the international community and the immunity granted to it, which enabled it to act with complete impunity in blatant defiance of the resolutions of international legitimacy and disregard for international humanitarian law and its binding provisions.

The Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council expressed his strong condemnation of the Israeli Knesset Speaker's explicit threat to the States of the region, which reveals the aggressive nature of Israeli policies and its attempts to spread terror and panic among the peoples of the region.

He further called on all regional and international parliamentary unions and organisations to take a firm stance by suspending the membership of the Israeli Knesset and preventing it from exercising its activities within them, in preparation for its complete expulsion.
