The communiqué reaffirmed support for the Palestinian people's sovereignty and the establishment of an independent State of Palestine, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, and called for it to be internationally recognised.
The communiqué also called for Lebanon's sovereignty to be respected and relevant international resolutions to be implemented. It also underlined the need to implement the resolutions of the UN Security Council regarding the cessation of aggression and withdrawal from the occupied territories.
