PUIC Secretary General Condemns the Continuing Hideous Crimes of the Evil Zionist Entity in the Gaza Strip

The heinous genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist occupation against the steadfast Palestinian people, which has been going on for nine months and in which the enemy has committed unprecedented atrocities in the history of warfare, are rapidly escalating these days.

On Saturday, 11 July 2024, the occupation army launched an attack with five missiles on the displaced people camp in Mawasi Khan Younis, which resulted in the martyrdom of 100 people and the wounding of 300 victims, most of whom were women and children. This densely populated area, with 80,000 people, had previously been declared a “safe zone” by the enemy. In addition to the genocidal war, and in connection with the massacre in Mawasi Khan Younis, the Zionist enemy committed another massacre in a mosque in Al-Shati camp, which resulted in more than 20 martyrs and dozens of wounded. With these and other ongoing massacres, the enemy has cornered 1.8 million Gazans in a small area with hardly any water, food and medicine, vulnerable to Israeli raids at every moment. This unjust war, which has been going on since 7 October 2023, has already claimed nearly 127,000 Palestinian victims, martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing persons, as well as the total destruction of the Gaza Strip.

Amid the tragic situation of our brothers in Palestine in general, and in the Gaza Strip in particular, His Excellency Mr Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States, renews his condemnation of the heinous crimes committed by the Zionist enemy in Palestine.

H.E. reminds the Islamic Nation of its duty to support the people of Palestine, where the blessed Al-Aqsa is located, and where our Master and Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, journeyed, and where the Prophets are buried.
