He expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims and his absolute solidarity with the Malian government and people in facing this plight which confirms anew the dangers of the scourge of terrorism which has no connection with the values of our true Islamic religion, and has no borders, and does not exceptionalize anyone. It is also confirming the necessity of doubling efforts, and uprooting it and addressing its deep causes leading to it.

We are certain that our brothers in Mali will overcome this difficulty. The Malian security and defense forces will find ways and means to tackle this phenomenon in order to serve security, stability and development in Mali and the region.
