H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi NIASS, the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) strongly condemns the despicable attack occurred on January 5 and 6, 2022 in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, perpetrated by armed groups in ten villages in Anka and Bukkuyum districts, shooting at residents, looting and burning houses, killing at least 200 people, leaving several injured and displaced.

The PUIC Secretary General offers his condolences to the Government, and the people of Nigeria and expresses his solidarity and sympathy with the victims of their families, and prays to Almighty Allah to shower His mercy on the dead people, grant speedy recovery to the wounded and hopes that such acts will no longer occur in the world.
