The Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) Prof. Mahmud Erol KILIC has been following with the utmost interest and deep concern the unfolding conditions in Uighur Xinjiang region of the People’s Republic of China. Communal violence in the area has resulted in huge losses in people and properties as well as creating an atmosphere of panic and fear among the population of Xinjiang.
