CONDEMNS ARREST OF LADY PALESTINIAN
MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT 

Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mahmud Erol KILIC condemns and denounces the arrest of Mona Mansour, Member of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) by the Israeli occupation authorities. He stresses that this step is a serious matter which heightens tension in the region and impedes the progress of peace. His Excellency requests the international community to expedite the release of all Palestinian parliamentarians who are now languishing in Israeli prisons, foremost among whom is Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Duwaik, Speaker of the Council.
