The Standing Specialized Committee on Legal Affairs, Human Rights and Environment held its 6th Meeting in Palembang, Republic of Indonesia on 26 January, 2012 under the Chairmanship of the Rapporteur of the Committee H.E. Mr. M. Zuhair Taghlibi, representative of the Syrian Arab Republic

-    Representative of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain was absent.

The PUIC General Secretariat was represented by Mr. Zahid Hassan Qureshi, Director for Conferences who welcomed the members of the Committee on behalf of the Secretary General.

The meeting reviewed the Agenda and discussed its 6 items. The discussion included interventions which finally led to the adoption of the attached draft Resolutions to be submitted to the PUIC Conference.
