The Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), H.E. Professor Mahmud Erol KILIC would like to hail the action of the Egyptian people aimed at consolidating the foundations of democracy, good governance and transparency.  The PUIC Secretary General emphasizes the right of peoples to choose what is most appropriate for running their affairs according to their national parameters, without any intervention or tutelage, and proceeding from the higher interests of their respective countries. He also emphasizes that civil rights constitute a major pillar of human rights in civilized communities. The Secretary General expresses his strong keenness on the security and stability of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and appeals to all the categories and parties of the Egyptian people to observe the highest level of wisdom in order to preserve their achievements. The Secretary General expresses his conviction that Egypt will perform its cherished role at the Islamic, regional and international levels.
