1.    The Standing  Specialized Committee on Economic Affairs and Environment held its 3rd Meeting in Istanbul – Republic of Turkey on 28 Rabi ul Awwal, 1436H (19 January, 2015), under the chairmanship of the Committee Rapporteur, H.E. Mr. Abdulrahman Ali Buali, Member of the Council of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

2.    The Meeting was attended by their Excellencies:

Absent from the meeting were the representatives of the Parliament of the Republic of Somalia, Republic of Tajikistan and Republic of Mozambique.
A number of member of other delegations also attended the meeting as observers, namely: the representatives of the National Assembly of the Sudan, the House of Councilors of Morocco, the National Assembly of Kuwait, the Islamic Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the House of Representatives of Malaysia, the Parliament of the Republic of Bangladesh, the National Assembly of Burkina Faso and the Council of Representatives of Iraq.

3.    H.E. Ambassador Ali Asghar Mohammadi Sijani, PUIC Assistant Secretary General, represented the General Secretariat at the meeting, where he welcomed the members of the Committee on behalf of the Secretary General.

4.     The Meeting reviewed the 12 agenda items. The discussion included interventions by the Members which finally resulted in the adoption of the following resolutions which are submitted to the august PUIC Conference. To
