Presidential elections in Iran conducted with accuracy and transparency

On Friday, 5 July 2024, the Islamic Republic of Iran held the second round of presidential elections. The second round of these elections was contested by two candidates, Dr. Masoud Pazeshkian and Dr. Saeed Jalili.

Masoud Pazeshkian won about 55 per cent of the votes, the number of which amounted to 30 million in total.

The Iranian Minister of the Interior stated that the elections were conducted with precision, transparency, clarity and a high level of integrity, leading to the people's election of Mr. Masoud Pazeshkian as the ninth President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, Secretary General of the PUIC, therefore extends his congratulations to Iran's President-elect Masoud Pazeshkian and wishes him success in his duties and congratulates the Iranian leadership and the people.

His Excellency asks Allah Almighty to grant the Islamic Republic of Iran and its Muslim people the success, prosperity and progress that their leadership aspires to, within a secure and stable environment.
