The National Assembly, in its special session today, approved 13 recommendations to stop the Zionist violations in the Gaza Strip and support the just cause of the Palestinian people.
The recommendations emphasized the unity of the official and popular ranks in Kuwait and their unified efforts to support this central and just cause.
The recommendations called for establishing a fund for the reconstruction of Gaza and supporting its steadfastness, as well as calling on governments, chambers of commerce and businessmen to support this fund and launch a boycott against the Zionist entity.
The recommendations involve establishing the "Kuwait Humanitarian City" in the Gaza Strip, providing the necessary residential, educational and health facilities to support the steadfastness of the people and prevent their displacement.
The recommendations urged the Kuwaiti government to take diplomatic measures to immediately stop the Zionist aggression, to protect the civilian population and to prevent displacement and the recurrence of the Nakba.
The following provisions were incorporated in the recommendations:
1- Prosecuting the president of the Zionist entity as well as the military and political leaders of the entity as war criminals before international bodies, the International Criminal Court and the parliaments of the world, and instructing the parliamentary department to lead the legal, political and media efforts in this regard.
2- We reaffirm and renew our solidarity with the resistance and struggle of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and all the occupied Palestinian territories, and the right of the Palestinian people to strive for their right to establish their independent state and regain their usurped sanctities.
3- We urge Arab and Muslim governments and parliaments to align with the stance of the free peoples in Kuwait and worldwide, through adopting concrete decisions and practical steps to break the siege, support the struggle and reject normalisation with the criminal, occupying Zionist entity. It is also essential to ensure the opening of all border crossings and the delivery of aid.
4- The government will act through its official procedures, as soon as possible, to reunite Palestinian teachers in Kuwait with their families, whether they were stranded outside Gaza or trapped inside it.
5- We urge the government, private sector and development funds to create a Fund for the Reconstruction of Gaza and support its steadfastness, and to call on governments, chambers of commerce and businessmen to support this Fund and launch a boycott against the Zionist entity.
6- The government urges strict enforcement against any instances of any form of communication with the occupying entity in implementation of the decree declaring war on the Zionist gangs and the existing law on boycotting Israel.
7- The government, in collaboration with charitable committees and humanitarian associations, is establishing the "Kuwait Humanitarian City" in the Gaza Strip with the necessary residential, educational and health facilities to support the steadfastness of the people and prevent their displacement.
8- We urge the Ministry of Health, in conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to promptly and efficiently arrange for the treatment of the wounded, particularly women and children, at hospitals in Kuwait.
9- The Assembly’s Television Channel will broadcast the Special Session via satellite and will translate parts of it into the world's working languages.
10- Emphasising the government's continued closure of Kuwaiti airspace and land to any use in any operation against our brothers in Palestine.
11- Rejecting any form of normalisation with the Zionist entity and not signing any joint statement by the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry or state institutions with any sister or friendly country or international institution that calls for any form of normalisation or condemns the Palestinian right to resist the occupier or equates the Zionist perpetrator with the victim in their statement
12- We urge the Kuwaiti government to make every diplomatic effort towards:
a) An immediate halt to the Zionist aggression
b) Protection of civilians
c) Rejecting displacement and the recurrence of the Nakba.
13- Emphasising the unity of the Kuwaiti official and popular ranks and their unified efforts in supporting this central and just cause.
