Secretary General Condemns Attack on Church in Nigeria

A Catholic church in Ondo state, south- western region of Nigeria, was the target of an armed attack, on Sunday, 5th June 2022, which resulted in the death and injury of people. Nigerian President Buhari considered the attack a “horrifying murder crime”.

H.E. the PUIC Secretary General, Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, condemns this action, feels sorry about it, and calls for respecting places of worship. He prays to Almighty God to cover all regions of Nigeria, and Africa in general, with peace, and to bestow prosperity and stability on the world.
