On the morning of Thursday, April 14, 2022, His Excellency Mr. Salah Goudjil, President of the Majlis al- Oumma, received in his office at the headquarters of the Council of Nation in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Khouraichi Niass, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) and his accompanying delegation.

After the meeting, the memorandum of understanding was signed by H.E Mr. Mohamed Drissi Dada, Secretary-General of the Council of Nation, H.E Mr. Azeddine Khennouf, Secretary-General of the Algerian National People's Assembly, and H.E Mr. Mohamed Khouraichi Niass, Secretary-General of the Union.

After that, the Secretary-General went to the National People's Assembly and met with His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim Bougali, Speaker of the Algerian National People's Assembly of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
