This came in a message sent to H.E. Mr. Azhar Azizan Harun, Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives.
The Secretary General offered to Mr. Harun and the brotherly Malaysian people his heartfelt condolences and sincere consolation for this distressing catastrophe, praying to Almighty God to shower the dead with His mercy, expedite recovery of the wounded and preserve Malaysia and the entire Muslim countries from all misfortune.
