In a message to H.E. Mrs. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Speaker of the Parliament of the people’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Secretary General offered sincere condolences to Mrs. Chaudhury, Parliament and people of Bangladesh on this sad occasion, praying to Almighty God to shower His mercy on the dead, grant speedy recovery to the injured and give patience and solace to the families of the victims.
The Secretary General also prayed to God to protect Bangladesh and all Muslim countries from all misfortune.
