The “Abu Dhabi Declaration” adopted by the 24th Meeting of the PUIC Executive Committee requested the United Nations and all international and regional organizations as well as influential world powers to shoulder their international and legal responsibilities in order to reach a just and durable settlement to the Arab Israeli conflict in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
The 24th Meeting of the PUIC Executive Committee was held under the chairmanship of H.E. Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ghurair, Speaker of the Federal National Council of the UAE and President of the PUIC Council, on 24th October 2010 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The Meeting was attended by their Excellencies: H.E. Daadoua Al– Ayashi, Algeria, People's Democratic Republic of Algeria; H.E. Ouedragou Sayouba, Burkina Faso; H.E. Hamadou Sali, Republic of Cameroon; H.E. Prof. Zeinab Radwan, Arab Republic of Egypt; H.E. Dr. Hidayat Nour Wahid, Republic of Indonesia; H.E. Dr. Kazem Jalali, Islamic Republic of Iran; S.E. Ali Bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, King dom of Saudi Arabia ; H.E. Dr. Irfan Gunduz, Republic of Turkey; H.E. Kaddunabbi Ibrahim Lubega, Republic of Uganda.

The PUIC Secretary General Professor Mahmud Erol KILIC and Assistant Secretary General Ambassador Ali Asghar Mohammadi Sijani also participated in the Meeting.
Members of the Committee were briefed on the report of the Secretary General which covered the activities, participations and conferences which took place between the date of holding the 23rd Meeting of the Executive Committee and the date of holding the 24th Meeting.
The Committee also considered the draft submitted by the Parliamentary Group of the UAE concerning development of the technical work mechanisms of the PUIC General Secretariat.
The Proceedings of the Meeting also included preparation of the agenda of the 13th Session of the PUIC Council scheduled to be held on 17-18 January 2011 in Abu Dhabi, which will be preceded by meetings of the standing Specialized Committees on 15th January 2011. The committee also considered specifying the date for holding the 7th Session of the PUIC Conference which will be hosted by the Republic of Indonesia in 2012.
